Teaching.

In 2012-2014, I was a teacher/lecturer  at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Helsinki. I designed and lectured three full semester graduate-level courses (10 ECTS) for the International Biomathematics Master Program:
  • Mathematical Theory of Population Genetics
  • Evolution and the Theory of Games
  • Introduction to Bifurcation Theory

While a teacher I also supervised the following thesis
  • Evolution of pathogen mutation probabilities (Master Thesis; Brittany Rose. Co-supervision with Eva Kisdi)
  • Forgiveness in iterated stochastic prisoners dilemma (Bachelor Thesis; Taneli Pusa)
  • Studying evolution in the snowdrift game with adaptive dynamics (Bachelor Thesis; Iiro Jappinen)

In 2002-2004 I designed educational programs in Eastern Cape, South Africa. I designed teaching curricula in mathematics for high-schools, set up computer  facilities and trained teachers in IT.
